About Me
Alex Guerra
I’m Alex Guerra, a leader, husband, father of four, and the host of The Seasons of Growth.
My life’s work sits at the intersection of leadership, faith, psychology, and real life. I’ve spent years leading teams across demanding environments, learning firsthand that strong leadership isn’t built on control or perfection, it’s built on emotional intelligence, consistency, empathy, Empowerment and the courage to grow alongside the people you lead.
At home, my most important roles are being a husband and a father of four. Fatherhood and marriage have shaped my leadership more than any title ever could. They’ve taught me patience, humility, presence, and the importance of modeling growth instead of just talking about it.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe growth is both spiritual and practical, that biblical truth and psychological insight are not in conflict, but deeply complementary. I draw from faith based principles, emotional intelligence, and psychology to help people develop resilience without becoming hardened, discipline without shame, and strength without emotional disconnection.
Through The Seasons of Growth, I share honest reflections, leadership lessons, and tools for navigating life’s changing seasons, whether that’s leading teams, strengthening relationships, managing pressure, or doing the internal work growth requires.
I don’t believe in quick fixes or motivational hype. I believe in intentional growth, faithful habits, and becoming the kind of person others feel safe, seen, and supported around.
Because leadership starts within and every season has something to teach us.

Professional Competencies
For more than a decade I’ve been blessed to serve in leadership roles across Retail, Hospitality, Food Service, Healthcare, and Maintenence Repair and Operations industries. I have led in roles like General Manager, Corporate Trainer, Food Service Director, District Manager, Sales Manager, Managing Partner and Owner & Operator.

I have overseen multiple facilities & programs, hundreds of team members, dozens of leaders, and the systems that make daily operations run. My work has taught me the importance of compliance, consistency, and, most importantly, people.
Leadership is never just about policies or procedures it’s about understanding individual struggles, playing to each person’s strengths, and helping teams thrive even in high-pressure, short-staffed environments.
Leadership Compentencies
Beyond my career, I’m deeply invested in my community. I serve as Treasurer in our Local Soccer Association, a Coach, a board member for our Maintenance Association, and as a Deacon in our local church.

Alongside my professional and community work, I’m a writer, development coach and content creator.
I’m also host of the podcast, The Seasons of Growth, as a space where faith, leadership, and personal development come together.

Most importantly, I’m a husband and father. My family keeps me grounded, and they remind me every day why faith and purpose matter in leadership and in life.
